We have a retreat just for you! Come explore the area, the stunning bay with views of Morro Rock and have fun while you make and solve a mystery quilt with us. Visiting the area in February is a magical treat with lots of sunshine, wintering wildlife and much to explore away from the quilt studio.

TAKE A CLASS AT THE QUILTED OTTER

Accuquilt Club

Cost: $ 15

Each Month we will meet to learn new techniques with the Accuquilt line of die cutters. Often there will be a workshop as well.

Sunset Lighthouse

Cost: $ 60

In this class you will make the entire top for the "Sunset Lighthouse" Quilt Art Deco Wall Hanging. All supplies are included in the course fee. There is an option for a Sailboat rather than a lighthouse and you can choose at class for either option. The quilt is made of 29 strips of fabric ranging from the sand to the sea to the sky with a pre-applied heat backing to apply the Lighthouse to the quilt. This a fun quilt to make for the newest of beginners to more advanced quilters as well.

Special Events for this Special Day - Come visit our shop on this day and partake in demos, sales, and a raffle.

Piece of My Heart Strip Quilt

Cost: $ 30

We will make this heart quilt using just 2.5" and 5" strips. Examples of the project include the one illustrated here and one in Valentines colors. Attendees can bring their own fabric, purchase in store (at 10% off) or use a kit that has been premade up for this quilt.

The idea of "The Quilted Otter" had been an idea stirring in the owner's mind for many years and came to fruition this summer after the sudden closing of a long time, local quilt shop. We want to keep quilting in Morro Bay for locals and tourists alike! We aspire to make the shop a welcoming "Happy Place" for all with new fabrics, kits, patterns, classes and events. Please join our community and let's get going on a fun, quilting experience together! ONINE SHOPPING: We strive for accuracy with our online inventory. We update it daily, however, some items may be subject to prior sale.

RETURNS: We accept returned items in unused condition for up to 30 days from purchase date. Fabric that has been cut to order off the bolt is subject to a 30% restocking fee.
