“You Otter Be Quilting!” Central Coast Retreat

Join us for a fun-filled quilting getaway at beautiful Camp Ocean Pines, nestled along the stunning Pacific Coast in Cambria, California!

Enjoy 4 days and 3 nights of creativity and connection (beginning with lunch on Tuesday and wrapping up late Friday morning) in a relaxed, inspiring setting overlooking the rugged California coastline.

This retreat is primarily a BYOP (Bring Your Own Projects) experience with plenty of open sewing time—plus a splash of fun with daily themes and optional classes! Explore new techniques like:

• Otter & Sea Creature Appliqué

• Working with Batiks

• Beginner & Advanced AccuQuilt Methods

• Creating a Bargello Quilt

You can also join our optional daily Skillbuilder Sessions to build confidence and expand your skills. In the evenings, enjoy a little lighthearted fun, including optional activities and a playful retreat challenge.

All skill levels are welcome! Newer quilters are especially encouraged to attend—there will be dedicated time for guidance, tips, and hands-on help to support your projects. There will be a popup quilt shop onsite and a couple of original quilt kits & patterns that you may choose to purchase and make at the retreat.  There will be design walls, ironing stations, and basic supplies available and space enough to spread out.  Quilters are expected to bring their own machines and personal supplies.  There are some machines to rent if needed.  Check out the Camp Ocean Pines site for views of the cabins, grounds, and facilities.

• Visiting local sea lions

• Walking Fiscalini Ranch Preserve

• Stopping by a nearby quilt shop (of course!)

Cost:
$575 per person (includes lodging in a shared 5-person cabin with ensuite bathroom, 9 meals, workspace, and activities)
$499 per person (non-lodging option; includes all of the above except lodging)
